ADHD Coaching

Get help managing daily challenges and achieving your goals by focusing on practical strategies and action-oriented solutions to improve focus, organization, time management, and other executive functions. Your coach will help you develop a personalized plan, boost motivation, and build accountability to navigate the specific challenges associated with ADHD.

Functional Nutrition

Functional nutrition (or nutritional psychiatry) recognizes the fundamental role nutrients play in supporting mental well-being by impacting brain function, neurotransmitter production, hormone balance, inflammation, and gut health. After your initial session you’ll receive a customized plan, and follow up sessions will provide on-going support for your body and mental health goals.

Story Work

For those who are looking to make sense of their story, our six-week story experience is for individuals who want to better understand how the “there and then” of the past is connected to the current“here and now” struggles and difficulties of everyday life. Participants will explore the connection between family of origin, attachment styles, and the enneagram with a trained story guide.

  • We do not accept insurance, but will provide you with a Superbill each month to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

    Our rates vary by service. We do have a limited number of discounted rate spots - just let us know if you’d like to be considered.

  • At New Story we approach each client as a whole person and work with you to create a tailored care plan that aligns with your needs and goals. That might look like counseling and ADHD coaching, or counseling and functional nutrition (functional psychiatry), or maybe one of those services just on it’s own.

    We’re here to listen to you, and find the providers and services that are right for you.

  • Story Work is for those who aren’t necessarily ready or interested in therapy, but would like to learn more about their how their origin stories and attachment style impact their current everyday lives.

    Story Work is designed to help you make connections and better understand yourself.

    This may lead to coaching or counseling, but stands alone as helpful therapeutic work.

  • I have ADHD, do I need counseling or coaching?

    While both coaching and therapy can be beneficial for individuals with ADHD, they have different focuses. Therapy tends to delve into past experiences, emotional processing, and underlying psychological issues, while coaching is more focused on the present and future, emphasizing practical strategies and goal achievement.
